Martyna

Hello! My name is Martyna, and I am an English language tutor. I am currently a master’s student of ethnolinguistics, where every day I improve my English language skills and also learn Chinese from scratch. Learning an entirely new and unfamiliar language after so many years has given me the opportunity to understand the challenges that adults may face when acquiring a new language. Thanks to this experience, I am able to conduct my classes in a more engaging manner than traditional school settings and I am eager to share methods for memorizing new, difficult, or confusing vocabulary with you!

My love and passion for different cultures and languages has led me to the field of teaching. Despite my young age, I’ve had the chance to travel to many places and work abroad, where I had to deal with numerous stressful situations. In these moments, I had to use not only languages I was familiar with but also those I had learned for a very short period of time. I know what language barriers and the fear of speaking feel like, so I always encourage my students to engage in conversations, even when they use short and simple expressions.

My teaching approach is based on interactivity, the application of practical skills, and the creation of a friendly atmosphere that fosters effective learning.
