Dominic

My name is Dominic, and I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom. I started my teaching journey in 2012, working as a member of the adult education team at the West Sussex County Council, where I taught music. During my travels, I worked in several schools in South Asia.

Today, I teach English in Italy, both in the classroom and online. In each lesson, I focus on the individual needs and preferences of the student, whether they are learning for pleasure or for work. The foundation of my classes is conversation, as I believe that through speaking, we build confidence and break down language barriers. Teaching has also had a tremendous impact on my own education.

In 2017, I earned a master’s degree in music from the University of West London. I am also a certified TEFL teacher. In addition to English, I teach Italian and guitar playing. My interests include sports and songwriting.
